Grow Your Mind Day was organized to help students and teachers to develop growth mindset through experiential learning. The day started with an introduction to two types of mindset, growth versus fixed mindset, and their differences. Students were then taught that their brain can grow through taking on challenges and if don’t give up easily. Finally, students tried different challenging tasks (e.g. picking marbles, juggling, draw without brushes, etc.) that invited them to step out of their comfort zone. Students learned that they could solve different challenges by finding their own effective strategies on that day and had a lot of fun.
